Isekai Tensei ni Kansha o - Vol. 2 Ch. 14

Aria chose the wrong job. I'm not saying she should feel nothing, but it's the simple reality that some adventurers won't return alive. That's what being an adventurer is. She'll die inside if she doesn't learn to accept it. The guild master as well... How the hell does he expect adventurers to grow up if not by challenging themselves? By sitting behind a desk, huh? Fighting immobile practice targets?

High luck is the best attribute you can have. That's why wise players of old Elder Scrolls persistently placed one point on luck every level up, even if they otherwise maxed the multipliers religiously on two normal attributes.

Well, I have to admit that the way this artist does anything but people, buildings and landscape leaves a lot wanting. We can all guess what happens on page 8 and 9 but what the hell is actually happening, who knows. The fact that he does not fill anything out but the MC on the action makes it look like some failed rorschach test.

The fight was kinda all over and hard to read, but since the dialogues are the strong point here, niiice.

But I don't even know what happened, did he kill the ant? Someone saved him? he ran away?

The Feels ..... Damn....... *Sniff Sniff* ...... Can someone tell me where the ninjas cutting onions came from.....

@Kaarme:
>How the hell does he expect adventurers to grow up if not by challenging themselves?

Well, there's challenging yourself, and there's suicidal level of recklessness like, y'know, fighting a SWARM of monsters that can inflict paralysis which is basically death for a single adventurer.

Don't forget MC already took a hit that would've likely been fatal when fighting a few ants earlier if not for his godmode cheat.

@WhimsiCat Wouldn't he have known he still has the godmode at that point? Once he got it switched off, it's a different thing and a different mentality. He seemed quite okay and without major injuries after the main battle, so I'd say he didn't risk too much. He knew what he was doing.

@Kaarme: He turn it off BEFORE the main battle, which makes it even more reckless to do.
His weapon also broke in the fight against the final ant.

And guess what, based on what the guild master said, the group he fought was ABNORMALLY SMALL, meaning in a 'normal' situation he'd have way more ants to deal with and likely already be dead.
He didn't know about the nature of the ant swarm, he got lucky that the group he fought was small enough he managed to win.

The guild master was not wrong to be angry with how reckless the MC was.

@WhimsiCat If Jin didn't know the danger, that's a failure on the guild's part. Remember the whole training arc? They're supposed to teach these things. I say Mr. Guild Master is just covering the shame of his own failure.
