I feel you, my dude. It's just a common occurrence in this line of 'work' it seems. A project that has been all but abandoned sitting there waiting for people like you who'll treat it right, brush its hair and the like. Then the previous "owner" in this analogy begins working on it again, usually putting out the same chapter but also more.
It's an intimidation tactic, of course. To show that, "they translate for it and you better back off." Only for it to go back to a crawl update and then subsequent abandonment.
Konjiki no Word Master is currently dealing with a similar issue. It's really sad, honestly.

@Vasqueztion I wouldn't mind translating and all it just that I only know 2 languages english and urdu so I cant really translate without google, raws, and already translated material. Ill look into Word Master because Ive been waiting for updates for it for a while. Another thing is not that good at editing, so if words are written not in text bubbles either, I'm fucked or the translation will look like shit on the image.

It's probably even been longer than 6 months. The 6 month date on all the other chapters basically just represents all the uploads people did when the site first opened and people started adding content.

@superspartan177 I'm trying to remember where exactly I read it (it was somewhere here on mangadex), but it seems like the font that's normally used is Wild Words. It's probably different for every scanlation group but Wild Words seems good enough.

(on another note, I spent a few hours translating part of this chapter from japanese on a whim, and it matches with your translations for the most part. If I finish this chapter I might post it here, but don't get your expectations up)

Last time someone translated this was July 2017 and the translator has told people that he doesnt have time anymore so it is free. Been trying to get groups to translate this to no avail.

@Chet31 thank you for that info, cause ill try translating the sh*t out of it if possible cause all isekai's deserve a translation. But seriously thanks for that info, ill keep going for as long as possible but it'll take time cause I dont have much free time, updates will be out as often as I can, its sort of fun.

@Vasqueztion in the case of Konjiki no Word Master, my guess is that the old group had that last chapter partly done, and wanted to at least release that last chapter so the work that they did do doesn't go to waste. Seeing that Hot Chocolate Scans hasn't put out any more chapters since that last one, I'd figure this to be the case, IMO.

@superspartan177 For your first time, it's not too bad. Small mistakes I've noticed are stuff like "cant" instead of "can't", but that's minor. This wasn't a text-heavy chapter though, so you were lucky this time. I'll wait for the next chapter, if it has more text, to point out any other mistakes I can find. ^^
