Isekai Yakkyoku - Vol. 5 Ch. 24.1 - The arrival of the Bubonic Plague

Feels as if the chapter ended a bit abruptly. Either it is a poorly made cliffhanger, or it might be a poorly split chapter. I am leaning towards the latter, considering that first page and how there is a pending ".2".

Feels like you split the chapter in two intentionally to get people to your website where it isn't split...

Nevermind, apparently publisher did it that way, but on their website it's a completed chapter.

I would also like to visit their site, but if they don't fix the bug you can't report any problems it just becomes frustrating.
In any case, the new chapter will be released on October 21st on my birthday. XD
hahaha

Feels like sulfanilamide or penicillin. I’m thinking sulfa because it’s easier to chemically synthesize.

It is a harsh thign to say but given their level of technological development lowering the death rate is not a good thing.
They will quickly become overpopulated and have to wage war to diminish their population numbers to more sustainable levels. It was a commom problem in well developed countries in the old age and the reason we have so many wars through history.

Oh, so the Empress caught on? Figured. Her approach is safe too. Fortunately, he doesn't have to ask for anything in return because results are exactly what he wants.

Regarding the population staying high though....uh...yeah. That might be a problem unless they can improve other qualities of life to keep up the higher need for...everything.

@Shinobu153 This time he should not do the same mistake on earth regarding antibiotics, it is misused/mismanaged and caused mutation to antibiotic resistant strains.

@Meri08 Indeed. She intends to let Falma work for free for the empire, hoping he will never ask anything in return. The best deal of the century!

@kaarme since she thought Falma was possessed by A God or Holy spirit, ofc all she could hope was Falma would never ask for anything in return, we're talking about God here, it wouldn't be just a normal request, she wasn't sure if she could satisfies the God's need, and not ended up angering it
Well, that's just my opinion tho

The Queen is smart though off a little because she lacks knowledge and comprehension, she could only deduce so much. Only the Priest and MC closest aids know the truth. He’s like an apostle of the medicine god. I don’t get why he denies it when all the evidence is there. He possesses more influence then the Queen, he should at least set them to the right path.

The Queen is trying to appease the MC because if he ever asks for too much she can’t deny him. He’s already become something she can’t be without, she doesn’t want to ruin the connection with this vast treasure.

Honestly I think she could reward him with small gestures or gifts. All that matters is sincerity.

You can really see the subtle skills of an above average manga artist on the first page, with the little details on the ground!

😵
