It was a carnage, first the dad sacrificed himself to give his family time to run, but nobody ran, then the mother, then his sister, and finally the brother sacrificed himself for his sister to escape, but instead of trying to avoid the spider by entering a building she confronted her saying "I'll avenge you brother". Maybe it was honor or maybe it was pure rage, but I don't feel they made the right choise.
