Well Merida def. isn't the first girl (as she was called Kuroe or something) so my bet is she was one of the girls they fought with against the two dragons (maybe).

Edit: the Merida girl is the innkeeper... first appeared in Ch. 4 and hinted at being strong.

@fakeirish No it can't be one of the girls they fought against the dragons with, the two notable girls there were a mage and a knight who used a giant sword...

Also for everyone who's curious ( @ultimatehaki @Guspaz @suzubelle @FallenAngelDraco @Strabo4 @mahtan ), I just went back, Merida is the girl in charge of the Inn, that's one of the reasons she seems a bit unfamiliar is because until now she hasn't been involved in any major events (unless you count the birthday thing), though it was made clear that she is strong when she was first introduced (back in chapter 4).

Merida is the girl that works in the hotel that they're staying at. Go re read ch4 and the birthday chapters to refresh your memory. Also why is this chapter half the length than normal? It already takes long enough for 1 chapter to come out and after waiting 3 months it now half the length? wtf man.
