I bet this is Komachi's and everyone else's final trial. I'm guessing Fanan was told to do this by the higher-ups, possibly even King Enma himself. If Komachi does something here to Fanfan, it will be her demise and a great sin. If she does sin, then would Enra or his siblings be able to judge her fairly, or would their relationship with her cloud their judgment? I'm guessing either Fanfan won't actually harm Enra, or at the last moment Komachi will throw herself in front of Enra to protect him.
