Jiken Jaken! - Vol. 2 Ch. 29 - Who done it? (Solution Arc)!

I spent so so long thinking about how it was done that I completely forgot she had a twin... they actually got me

twin trick is cheap when you dont know theres a twin, twin trick is just stupid if you already know theres a twin. should have been a red herring and had an actual cool solution but hey, im not here because i actually love mysteries

I had guessed it was the twin trick.
Also, poor MC getting set up by the twin and almost NTRing his senpai and friend at the same time.

Since I read the last chapter, I already guessed its her twin.
Can't wait for next chap, some progress in their relationship maybe? or whatevs, I just love gthis manga

kinda wish there was a more interesting mystery here besides twin trick, but oh well

i was also hoping it was somehow the mistaken location trick too, but it would definitely be unlikely for the clubroom if they visit it regularly

The "twin trick" may be fair, but it's extremely lame and disappointing imo. Though maybe I'm just biased because I had the same solution as Himawari lol

Nobara should be careful on what she eats now, better refuse those cookies Yuriko would offer to her.

SWEET OL NTR TIME BOIS (jk)

Also doesnt the twin have a BF or summ? iirc she was clinging onto a man with booty shorts on in the first ch, or maybe she was just teasing

So is the twin just as good at solving mysteries of she was able to refute everything they said so confidently?

I'm going to overthink this chapter for a bit; Using the Twin Trick here is great because we the readers aren't the only one's disappointed in it. MC is also obviously kinda bored by the entire thing, and Childhood Friend Girl is definitely frustrated that her reasonable deduction was wrong in favor of a 'trick' that she basically had no way of piecing together from the information available to her.

But of course Twin produced a lame answer. She's not the mystery nerd that Yuriko is. Yuriko probably would have come up with a trick more like what CFG or MC's initial misdirection trick, because they are tricks that an observer could deduce based on observed evidence, and don't require outside knowledge to uncover. In other words the best sort of mysteries for a mystery novel.

And yet at the same time it is something we the reader could figure out based on knowing about Yuriko's Twin and how bored and disinterested Toiri is. Because his crush isn't involved he just kinda doesn't care, and ends up treating 'Yuriko' more like how he treats his Childhood Friend this chapter, hinting that something is off about the situation.

Elementary my dear Nerdsons.

Also, even if you don't know they have a twin, if you frequent them habitually, you will feel immediately that something is wrong the first time you meet the twin
