I don't get it really, why would Sei fuss over killing the bastard that has gone insane and is dangerous to everyone? Why feel any sort of empathy to someone like that over animal that he hunts? We'll I guess I'll never find out. It's hard to immerse yourself in story with such scenarios that you can't experience in life.

Ken made the right call. Everyone else's reactions is somewhat unrealistic.

I don't know if he made the "right" choice, but he certainly made the best for the health and longevity of his group. The "unrealistic" reactions aren't unrealistic in my opinion. There's all sorts of people out there. Some of them may seem weird to you, but they're all real. Whether these actions are in line with Ryou and Sei's personality, eh, maybe, maybe not. Hard to say.
