JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7 - Steel Ball Run (Official Colored) - Vol. 20 Ch. 78 - D4C Part 11 -Love Train-

Araki must of forgot that he went with the modern day value of the USD in the beginning so readers can understand amounts. That is why there is a prize of $50 million in 1890, otherwise the prize is the equivalent of over $1 billion for one race today. Now he's saying the engineer makes $20 a week.

I thought that this ability transports any material that comes close to it but the qualification of coming near Lucy are still somewhat hazy. What method did he use to cut that man's limbs though?

If D4C can access the parallel universe, then could Funny Valentine find out about the original universe from Parts 1-6

WHY DOES FUNNY VALENTINE HAVE A BIG BULGE
WTF
WHY DID I NOTICE THAT
BIG DICK FUNNY VALENTINE

The train engineer said that he is making $20 a week in 1890. In today terms that is about $567. The average minimum wage worker makes about $268.80. Or for an annual salary $29848, which is $14768
more than a minimum wage worker.

@leafs in the beggining of the manga they said money would be worth the same as it is as the time this was written. So 20$ here is actually 20$. there is nothing to convert.

@Dyzupil There is a difference in parallel universe and alternate universe. The 1-6 universe is a different one, with thing that have already happened. The sbr universe is created to pay homage to this wonderful universe, and is completely separate. But the parallel universes that filthy acts at a reasonable price accesses is similar to the sponge example given by diego, a universe which is just like the sbr one, being just slightly different. D4C couldn't possibly access the og universe

but if johnny and gyro are still near valentine and aren't being yeeted away aren't they considered good things too
