We got to the new Morioh pretty quickly. Although I guess it has been 4 parts, but the anime is not that old yet. It looks like we have had a big timeskip from 1891 unless technology is more advanced in Japan than the U.S. in this universe. I thought the sailor uniform would place this around 1940, but we have cell phones.
