@justforthelulz the preserialization doesn't seem to have been updated since a couple months ago, and the serialization hasn't caught up to it yet. We'll probably move to serialization if the author decides to abandon pre.
Whoa this is really good! Who would have thought the silly crossdressing manga I started reading on a whim would have such sincere writing? Thanks for the translation!
@N2O Chapters 1-10 of the serialized version are redraws of the pre-serialized chapters that have already been translated. They look nicer but are almost identical dialogue. The translator is understandably skipping the redundant chapters for now.
@Kornonthekopp
I got my hopes up when I corrected two of the characters in the pixiv comments section and the author replied with a
“This is gonna go well”.
I hate the etymology of common LGBTQ+ terms in Japanese, but this isn’t an educational piece (fukaboku feels like it’s there to sneak in through a really problematic door and BOOM actually here to teach you stuff! I knew the stuff. I’m still reading because it’s good. Sasaki and Miyano is not that but still does a lot of subversion of expectations. “Oh, you thought it was another basic BL story? PSYCH!!!” The raw uses a problematic term a couple times. I guess it’s kind of ok in context? Not very)
@Jgold101 until I dated a guy for a while, then really introspected for a couple decades I thought “it’s whatever. I don’t even think people should think about gender, ever”. I hit 36 and said “oh, no. I’m clearly very much on gender and straight up lesbian”, pun intended. There are indeed people who oversimplify what “gender is a social construct” and/or think that everyone should just ignore the gender of any potential romantic partner.
I just don’t find any gender but Woman attractive. That’s convenient, because I’m married to one.
