@Oculunus It is the traditional Asian mindset. They didn't let women inherit family business or become head of the family. It is the reason you don't see any female Japanese feudal lord except Ii Naotora. Women are expected to get married and follow their husband, take care of children so teaching them the family business would be useless. Only until modern era that kind of thought was changed.
