Let me guess, the previous bad guys (Mugai ex-allies) who were responsible for the death of MANY villagers will join force hands-in-hands with the bug patrol to fight even stronger bug-like men as if all those needless deaths were as of so little importance that it's basically all about beating the ones who has the insanely higher innocent-kill count and those who remains below a certain % of the kills count are "okay" to befriend.

This is kinda like how Vegeta in Dragon Ball became such a loved Tsundere guy by everyone even though he literally destroyed whole planets and sent whole civilization into slavery for Freeza with an even bigger grin in his face than when Trunk, his first son-to-be-warrior, was born.
