Last word from Ayumu was at the end of volume 5 that the continuation of the series is in the works. It's actually possible that this is it or it's just a limited spin-off under a different publisher and the first series will be continued later. Given how it abandoned the 4-koma format of the magazine in the last few chapters, Ayumu may have felt that this series was completely unsuited to Kirara's usual format.
