@jonsmth I'm not completely disagreeing with you.
However, it's just that the key to the entirety of how he's being treated is as if he's a person from their world. BUT... He is a summoned person/not from their world. So, regardless of what "debt" there is. It basically comes down to, if you want my help then you need to help me. I mean, he could literally just say no and their world will be f***d, so if we are talking about the actual power to save that world it would seem that the only one to have it is the MC.

this is weird
1st why is liz is doni property? since when? LN? he's meeting them from 1st chapter with the PRINCE, not doni. they meet him only after ch6 and he's just a lord from REMOTE region!!! is there any "shared" slave in that world? like you're actually sharing public spoon to eat, even if you clean it, those are still disgusting
2nd, why did he not asking from the prince/kingdom. dont forget he's summoned forcefully and the summoner DOES want to make use of his ability. why did they summon and just throw him outside and expect him to do MIRACLE JOB??? also dont forget this is NOT those summoner where they abuse the otherworlder, like shield hero or other. if not money then at the very least, the kingdom could supply personel and/or connection. those are easy for them.
this is not an obligation, this is just basic rules. no farmer can "farm" if you suddenly "kidnap" them and then suddenly ask them bountiful crops with very limited tools and not even a farm to use. sigh, even kidnapped scientist in those comics are given tools and place to do their jobs, and those are not minimal tools but the most sophisticated ones
3rd the fact that his griffon just looks like an eagle and then there's "american dream" text besides it. idk, it's just weird
4th i still dont know what are they talking with doni in the last page...
