Protip: namamono (生物) is literally "raw thing/food".

生 nama 物 mono is usually read as seibutsu or ikimono, which both mean "living thing". so her statement "all 生物(seibutsu) are 生物(namamono)" was actually very accurate.
that also explains why erika called ishigami namamono. even though that was supposed to only refer to karen, ishigami is also a living thing, so he is a namamono in erika's innocent mind.
