Naive , the MC is too naive , as someone that grew up in the demon kingdom ,as a soldier , do you really think you'd make me believe that the MC is some forgiving and merciful person? presume he has been a soldier for 30 something years of his life , and he can't kill? Someone who has threaten him and those of value to him, REPEATEDLY, mind you, to take his possesisions and to KILL him, but you spare him in a duel THAT the aggressor demanded from you? Would you forgive someone that threatens to kill your mother? father? or lover? NO. Very disappointed, enjoyed it at first but there are just a lot about this that I don't like now. Yes, you can argue its a fantasy world where the logic is different , but come on, when did a guild have the power to decide to VOLUTARILY hand over key strategic resources to a force that is at war at you? That's TREASON , and a guild should not have the power over to decide whether or not to sell to the enemy , Where's the ruling party of the human race or the royalty,? A lot of fantasy stories have them and they usually are the bad guys except maybe a random princess or what. But in this story the Royalty will be probably be in the right and hang this people . That shield was broken three times.
When it was first shown, it had a huge triangular gash in it. In literally the NEXT PANEL that gash was gone.
THEN the protagonist smashed the shield to pieces, but it was immediately back again like it was nothing.
When he cut it in half, I genuinely 100% expected it to just reform back together again in the next panel... but instead the B-tard loudly announced the mythril shield was broken. Yeah, okay... FOR THE THIRD DAMNED TIME.
What is with that level of inconsistency?
Anyway, at least that extendo-dagger didn't look too bad despite being elaborate. The other guy's weapons were 100% trash from start to finish though. I've used Greatswords in Monster Hunter smaller than that second monstrosity.
