You skipped every piece of context a series might have to offer about anything at all, but the series is apparently at fault. At least read chapter 1 and call that retarded looking if that's how you feel about it. Twenty one chapters in on a thirty four chapter series, but chose to start here because it mentions a kiss I'm assuming. I'm sure the author who wrote a story with an actual beginning is super sorry about an attempt at instant gratification falling short of expectations?
