"Delicate, yet bold"
I'm not even sure how much of this chapter even happened given that Natsuki had that delusion in a previous chapter. The confession seems legit with the line "Hikawa didn't reply" being in reference to that while the sex scene didn't happening at all.
In a short, introspective work like this a bittersweet conclusion fits the tone well and I actually prefer it, so I'm surprisingly satisfied with this ending
