I hate the fact that non Americans think that rap is still Rapper's Delight. And even with that they have to stick with DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince and Kid 'n Play because if they reference shit like 2 Live Crew the editor would get mad.
Would have expected Heavy Metal even Black Metal or Visual Kei tbh

you're the one not making sense nigga nobody cares that its an american form lmao its these authors that clearly want to be hip and reference dinosaur rap styles that was featured in mtv when it was actually music television. next thing they will reference ll cool j and say momma said knock you out while wearing bucket hats and adidas tracksuits . if they actually like the genre they would not deceive the audience and put on airs with neutered lyrics. Might as well pay for the licensing fees and put in MF DOOM lyrics or some quasimoto lyrics idk idk that would at least make some sense.
rap has evolved from yo yo yippitee crap all that yo yo is only found in battle rap now.
