Killing Bites - Vol. 17 Ch. 82 - "Without That Sixth Sense, You Should Not Even Bother"

The author really is just making up whatever bullshit abilities he wants so he can get in two or three twists per fight

And he backed down from tigerman's supposed invisibility within half a chapter of introducing it

Obvious result is obvious. 99% of male x female fight, the female wins in this series. Then, again, this series is about waifus and not about tournaments to the death.

Animal A has this imbalanced ability. You cannot defeat Animal A.

Animal B, however, can. Because Animal B has this ability.

In the end, the sharpest fang wins.

Yeah, these fights really have become such a big letdown.

Apparently we're completely ignoring that a normal fox would have been able to hear his actual heartbeat from several tens of yards away, let alone one human sized.

thank you for the chapter, glad to vixen get past the first round that particular wai... capable female competitor deserved it.

Surprisingly, none of these animal facts were taken out of proportion. Snow leopards really are more stealthy than Sam Fisher and Solid Snake would ever hope to be, and foxes literally use geomagnetism like some fuzzy shaman. Doesn't exclude the fact that neither of these characters are remotely interesting: generic fox lady with thick lipstick and pornstar heels vs random buff dude with a "who cares" background. I know the fox is a recurring character, but the less of her, the better.

Even if he was invisible there would still be a pair of underpants floating around.

Yeah this and Rio's fight with Rhino only exists to build them up as fighters before they actually go up against each other later, and then hopefully we get some actually interesting backstory and world building.
Next chapter is Cheetah versus Lion, so that will probably a much more interesting face off.
In fact, I'd say every match after this will be far more interesting, even Dino and Gator's fight with two jobbers as I strongly suspect they are both going to brutally murder their competitors. Which is always fun.

Am i the only one bothered by the obvious pun in the last panel the translators missed?

shes talking about magnetism a better translation to my smooth brain would be "there is no attraction"

Wait, foxes have a built-in compass and use it to somehow triangulate the position of prey?... Wtf?

why am i not surprised, like when this who-is-guy-is-started-telling-his-backstory-then-he-will-lose formula
but yeah thanks for service :D
