@breizh Yeah, a new thought occurred to me, she might have a heart condition. That stuff can be impacted by intense emotions more easily than other diseases. I also saw someone in the previous chapter suggest that it might be the MC's lifespan and after he dies then she'd commit suicide.

@shanoc5902 That was me, and my idea was that it is still her lifespan, but that he will be dying (or seem dead) in the next month or so, at which point what they do beforehand decides how long before she gives into despair and decides to join him on the other side. Considering it goes down with her insecurities and up with checking off the romance bucket list, it could be based on the number of regrets swirling in her head at what she didn't do with him before he's seemingly gone forever.

I don't know how this girl stays so positive when she believes him. Yeah pretty sure it's the guy, the number plumets when he gets stressed or overworks, then rises when she calms him down or looks after him.
