I don't get anythink. So Sasakura survived the attack, Saki disappeared for some days and this is days after the attack, with Sasakura recovered from the wound? Or is it another timeline, and she's back in time again?

I feel like this was a cop-out. Killing the friend would've put this type of story in uncharted territory, but I can understand wanting to play it safe. Just explain it properly, and develop the romance a bit more please.

@Weoooo and @EzarFR Probably she went back in time like how she did, after her death.
Like how it is shown in the chapter, when she prays for help, her prayers are answered. So, maybe that's what happened.
