@Thifa He might have quitted school since in Japan, highschool is not mandatory. A lot of teenagers go directly into the workforce after middle-school. It is common for them to take an apprenticeship like Kenta currently doing.

I have feeling Kenta work in Kichi Kichi Omurice restaurant. I recall they have their shop in Kyoto. They have long history (just like Mother Ichi said) and their omuric said to be best in Japan
