Just confess to Ichika in full view of Ryou, and if he punches Tamaru then and there, it would likely lead to complete breakup of Ichika and Ryou regardless what her answer to the confession would be. A little pain gets you great advantage. Of course, it would also likely be the end of this manga so won't happen...
