@ngkn92 This Eiji dude really would be on I'm 14 and this is deep. He got hurt in love once and now thinks the entire world/all girls are bitter and cold. They are allowed to just not like you that way you know. It's part of life

BUT, if he was already a good character he wouldn't have any character arc to undergo, so I guess disliking him right now is the point of the story, as long as he does actually change

I'm not gonna tag them cause it's been 8 months but to respond to the first commenter, It happened to me too. It's nothing serious you just can't ring yourself to fall in love. There are people you wouldn't mind going out with but you don't actively chase anyone I guess it just happens when you fall hard for someone. to me, Eigi is a really relatable character cause I'm just like him. I don't think girls are evil I just grow... I guess apathetic? I think that's the word. to them.

I swear to God if Eiji doesn't get a happy ending I'm murdering the author and then proceed to murder myself in the process so that I don't have any regrets for murdering the author of this bittersweet amazing manga. Eiji is literally the best istg I don't even care for others at this point other than probably Taichi.
