Give credit to them, the hero looks like he's just been leveling fighting monsters, and he's holding back. Being told "you're here to strike at the demon capital with their fiercest troops and find women and children screaming will probably result in some confusion. We've got the full picture, they've just been thrown onto the battlefield and it looks like they're catching on fast.
