What a contrived plot. How did they even change their shirts, or vests, or whatever that is? With great difficulty. In reality 10 out of 10 people would have cut their hair, at least if regular solvents hadn't worked. Imagine going to a toilet for your business with someone standing right next to you. Having to regrow a bit of hair would have been a small price to pay.
