Strangely, the books are published in a seinen collection In France while being published in a shoujo magazine in Japan, maybe they feared that it wouldn’t sell as it’s not that shoujo-ish.

@breizh Yes, the same thing goes for the English ones too. Viz's Signature imprint's publishing this title which they publish usually seinens like Vagabond, Kaijuu no Kodomo, TG etc. in Signature. To be honest, I have doubt that the series will be selling as seinen. ? I can totally understand Ooku's situation, but this one... Just "different style shoujo" for me, actually. On the other hand, I also can understand their thoughts about it, this shoujo is different from those shoujos that published in the Usa generally... ?
