The contrarian attitudes of the police officer and the prosecutor-in-training are somewhat annoying to me, as they feel *flat* (the Police Officer more than the girl). They barely come up with reasoning beyond "It besmirches the honor of mine noble trade". Of course this won't stop me from reading this, but I do find it somewhat irritating that their so flat when there could be better 'attitudes' that could be drawn from having known the swindler-of-swindlers. (Perhaps Prosecutor-Girl tries drawing up rules on how to deal with swindlers, trying to quiz the MC on info, and accompany him on 'jobs' which also causes their own issues).
