Kuudere's are the Best Anime Archetype: Change my Mind

Then why is your avatar of Best Girl Asuka instead of Rei?

Kuuderetard destroyed!!
/s

Accept that Tsunderes are better, search your feelings, you know it to be true.

@rkkn they act cold and stoic on the outside but are very caring on the inside (when it comes to the ones they love)

@Lo0py different from characters that just don't display much emotion? (regardless of how they are feeling)

@Richman The kuudere does what the tsundere does only a thousand times better. Imagine wanting a short-tempered bitch that will stop at nothing to annoy you.

@comeonnow0 @Richman
Who let the tsunderetards loose?

Tsunderes are objectively shit because dealing with them requires not only overlooking bad behavior, but accepting it as if it's normal and healthy.

I can't deny kuuderes are upper tier. They're definitely below derederes and lite yanderes though.

@bigtiddyoneesan

Our hatred for the scourge that is the tsundere is mutual my friend. I'd have to argue that the kuudere would be above both, the yandere can be appealing but ultimately brought down the fact she'd go fucking bonkers if you don't put all your attention on her, the deredere always seemed like a mid upper tier- a classic but nothing special.

@comeonnow0
B-but I was only being mean to you because I like you XwX
^Is what Richman's abusive waifu would say.

Yandere is my fav in fiction and irl.

@EzWeeb
Derederes are pure bundles of love. They're hard to beat imo.

I'd have to go with 'lite' (nonviolent) yanderes because of their unwavering devotion and loyalty. While those traits aren't exclusive to yanderes, they're pretty much standard traits; traits that can effectively ensure a lifelong, committed relationship, which is one of the many true ending routes for life.

@bigtiddyoneesan You make a compelling case here, but the kuudere's love feels so much more knowing she'd only show that side of herself to you.

(nonviolent) yanderes

Being violent is one of their core traits dude. You don't get to have your cake and eat it.

@EzWeeb
Nah fam, nonviolent yanderes exist. One example is
Koharu from Koharu no Hibi.

IMO, a lite yandere character:
- Has an (arguably unhealthy) obsession over their love interest
- Would go to great lengths to be with their love interest (ideally with said love interest's interests in mind) ("interest's interests" lol)
- Doesn't have an inclination towards violence

Yeah, Yanderes and Kuuderes are at the top of my list. Tsunderes don't even make the list.

@bigtiddyoneesan

Alright, hard to argue with that logic. But Kuuderes still reign supreme imo. But I know one archetype that comes extremely close.

THE TOMBOY

@bigtiddyoneesan wait irl? this is a story I wanna hear

I'm fine with most of them, tho I feel like a relationship in which the 2 mcs compete/argue but are somewhat dere when alone is somewhat nice
