@Richman The kuudere does what the tsundere does only a thousand times better. Imagine wanting a short-tempered bitch that will stop at nothing to annoy you.
Our hatred for the scourge that is the tsundere is mutual my friend. I'd have to argue that the kuudere would be above both, the yandere can be appealing but ultimately brought down the fact she'd go fucking bonkers if you don't put all your attention on her, the deredere always seemed like a mid upper tier- a classic but nothing special.
@comeonnow0 B-but I was only being mean to you because I like you XwX
^Is what Richman's abusive waifu would say.
Yandere is my fav in fiction and irl.
@EzWeeb
Derederes are pure bundles of love. They're hard to beat imo.
I'd have to go with 'lite' (nonviolent) yanderes because of their unwavering devotion and loyalty. While those traits aren't exclusive to yanderes, they're pretty much standard traits; traits that can effectively ensure a lifelong, committed relationship, which is one of the many true ending routes for life.
@EzWeeb
Nah fam, nonviolent yanderes exist. One example is
Koharu from Koharu no Hibi.
IMO, a lite yandere character:
- Has an (arguably unhealthy) obsession over their love interest
- Would go to great lengths to be with their love interest (ideally with said love interest's interests in mind) ("interest's interests" lol)
- Doesn't have an inclination towards violence
