There are other things related to the moon, it'd be interesting to see something besides a werewolf for once. They're the basic bitches of lunar influence.
Im *Western* popular folklore, sure - but this is a Chinese work and I'm pretty sure their mythology doesn't have that sort of therianthrope. In context one would be an exotic novelty if anything.
