Love Score - Vol. 1 Ch. 5 - Yuuji and Mia

I'd root for Moe (Ms. 39.5%) if I gave a shit about Yuuji (MC), but the boy is as interesting as wet cardboard.

"No matter who I date, there will always be drama" No shit. God this guy is insufferable.

Aaaand, ladies and gentlemen, one of the reasons that overthinking, lacking confidence and love don't mix. By the time you're ready, your beloved would have found someone. Someone else, that is.
Wonder if the manga will continue or not; or moving on another group or staying on this one.

Whenever I read this manga, I feel something I don't want to feel. But i'm willing to suffer

This manga is just pure psychological horror.

Fuck, so scary. Didn't expect this manga to be so heavy when I started it. Especially after they explain how the app works. Society of Control at it's best.

Also, Yuuji is a self-insert for the average japanese person. I don't think his character will develop too much. Looking forward to Amamiya's take on this.

Well, part with him being left off because of his indecisiveness was interesting. Now I just want to see app being bullshit and whole score not meaningful.

@ThePaulBunyanTrophy
Thank for update. Also are there more chapter released? If yes it still continues with this MC or it changes to someone else?

We are caught up as for now, but the new chapter comes in about a week. As to when I'll get to that... Probably will take a few weeks... It depends on how interesting I find it.

Yeah that's what I thought was gonna happen. People gotta learn how to take risks.

The author seems pretty in-tune with current issues such as deepfakes. I'd actually prefer if this manga focused on the consequences of technology like Black Mirror rather than the relationship aspect.

I don't think Yuuji is lacking in confidence. Once he's made his decision, he's willing to make the move for Chise right away. And from what we've read so far, I think he's a pretty "hot stuff" in that school, with good relationships with his senpais and kouhais. He's also a pretty nice guy, willing to respect boundaries, is caring to his friends and the girl he's dating, and not given to sleeping around. A serial monogamist is what they're called. But for whatever reason, he's being extra careful with his next relationship. We've not given any insight as to why. Maybe a terrible breakup or other similarly painful experience immediately preceding the start of the series, but I'm willing to bet he probably has a good reason for it.

So in the end Mia used a fake instead of the real thing & my god even though it was a simulation, the fact that she had very risque pictures really scares me. He did what he had to do & wasn't dense enough to outright believe her plus his friend came in clutch with that. I like how they went into detail with the app & how interactions play role including ones that aren't possible through normal means. Like others have said about dragging your feet when it comes to love, you gotta make that move before its too late. Thanks for the chapter.
