This chapter captures the “uncle problem” especially well. “Don’t just plant random seeds, it might... uh... be a dinosaur(?)” and the kid, because they’re a kid, of course goes “HECK YEAH DINOSAUR SEEDS”
Speaking as an uncle, this happens all the time. It’s basically impossible for me to calm my neices&nephews down; anything I do only adds energy to the system, until collapse (their mother scolds then and gets annoyed at me).
