A parody of magical girls
I call it M.G.D
Which stands for magical girl deployment

The Mc is the Asian branch manager. With most chapters dealing either with the psychological toll on both staff and the magical girls in question, or the realistically high death toll. Why the hell is there a world wide system for this? You’ve got people randomly becoming magical girls and boys and others becoming eldritch abominations. The Mc is pretty detached from the day to day suffering of this system seeing a map of Asia and the different “units” which he moves around to deal with “situations”.

There was gonna be a script of the first chapter but I kept messing it up. So I might come back and write The script because I’m too sleepy to sit down and write the whole thing

@hazzack I can barely draw a stick figure this is mostly me making fun of a genre. I never intend for these to be made into an actual story or manga

So kind of like what Watchmen did to superhero genre (satire, was it?)

Well, it's kind hard to talk about something this vague though. It's a neat idea I guess.

I’ll write a plan for a first episode later when I’m less brain dead. Also feel free to take this idea because I’m never using it

Sounds like Asuka's spec ops magical girls, minus the international politics.

Honestly gritty mahou shoujo series have been cynically retread to such a degree that I'd much rather read a reconstruction over yet another deconstruction. Maybe with the more hopeful tone of something like Tiger & Bunny, or like Rozen Maiden/CCS's big-cast interdimensional adventure.

There's a lot you can do with the genre, even angst and grit-wise, and just copying Urobuchi's loleldritch take feels stale. Stuff like Symphogear or Nanoha managed to be a lot of fun in their own way and have their own serious moments without ever being cynical with their (especially in the Geah's case) less than serious premises.

Alright let’s begin with an info dump on the setting might make this an ai dm setting on other sites if I find it has promise for that, hell might even run it as a proper game.

The events known as distortions either cause a physical manifestations of the best part of a person typically resulting in new units. Of course the converse can happen with a distortion manifesting the worst part of a person typically resulting in “situations.”

There are currently 4 classes of situations conversion, attack, battle, and ruin.

Conversion covers situations which either control or utilize civilians to grow in strength units with purification expertise are recommended.

Attack are wide spread chaos wether it be killing a significant part of a city or unleashing minor monsters to attack the city, most units can deal with these.

Battle are an advance type of distortion which involve extremely large monsters, units with high combat capacity are suggested.

Ruin type disrtions are any which wipe out the initial city it occurs in with in 24 hours. Only 2 have ever occurred resulting in the destruction of 3 cities Portland, Vancouver, and London. If you are to ever encounter one protocol rabbit is to initiated after evacuation of any and all civilians.

M.G.D is composed of 5 continental managers with 3 managers for the old worlds, islands, and new world. These 3 managers work closely together with the current leader of M.G.D. Below the mangers is an ever complex web of building mangers, logistical workers, and researchers. There are also the “units” they are positive distortion victims as they are one of the few ways to effectively combat them.

You know i forgot to mention something that while in universe would make no sense. But to who ever decides to make this or take inspiration. It’s important that distortions manifest the worst parts of a person or the best parts.

Protocol rabbit is a team of extremely powerful magical girls. This case their a close knit group of high school students. As the more good someone has done and the less bad deeds they’ve done the more power they receive actually making high school students the best units in general. And friendships also increase this, the exact amount? No one knows but if a member of the rabbit protocol was killed expect a couple hundred deaths due to grief.
