Machikado Mazoku - Vol. 4 Ch. 46 - Black Meteor!? Protect the House from it!!

Thank you much for the chapter! Good to see more Mikan. Now if only Michael-chan showed up more.

I don't remember jealous being written jelous thought. Does it will be better to get of the cockroaches rather than makes hundred of thousand of barrier ?

Gotta love Mikan trying to go big sister mode and being sassy with Shamiko. The poor goat is totally jealous and feels left out of the loop. I should commend her for not wanting to take the easy route via dream espionage to find out more about Momo like she did last time. Not that it would work, because Momo's defenses are impregnable. She would just scold Shamiko again.
Is there a reason why the curse seems to auto-target Momo most of the time? lol
Also seriously... Shamiko already makes Momo 3 meals a day. Talk about full housewife mode.
I'm sure Ito had fun making the trio do what's basically the same as drawing manga for a bit.

@Lilliwyt
It's like Momo said, bugs will just come back to such a rundown place. There is no way to deal with them long term by capturing and releasing. So Momo just makes barriers that keep them repelled for a while and uses it as training for Shamiko's horrible mana quality at the same time.

@GurrenPrime5
Actually you'd expect Metako to do his job as pest control. Michael still seems to be pretty sapient, but Metako is 99% cat.

@BugDemon
Have we seen Michael act sapient yet though? I only remember seeing him sitting on a piece of wood not doing much of anything. Admittedly my memory's not great, so I could be wrong. Also, Metako can't be expected to do cleanup for all three apartments, that'd be pretty unfair.

Mikan has known Momo for 10 years and the curse targets people close to her, currently no one is closer to her than Momo.

Mikan's reaction to the rice was also used in this comic: https://i.imgur.com/kRD5vbZ.jpg

Golden dart frogs mostly eat small insects like ants and beetles. It's actually the diet in their native environment that makes them toxic. If bred in captivity and denied their usual fare in favor of commercially available equivalents like fruit flies or crickets, they never become toxic; captured wild specimens will stay poisonous for several years.

Then again, we're not dealing with a real frog here, so Acceptable Breaks From Reality apply.

Is Momo specifically talking about rice? or Han? Because if so, isn't it more appropriate to TL it as "meal"?

Momo is dependent on Shamiko's cooking to know her girlfriend loves her.

With the possible exception of Shamiko's mother, everyone knows about Shamiko and Momo. Only Shamiko and Momo are having trouble with it.

Another cute chapter... It has bugs and shadows of dark stuff and still all cute...

"Just for being born and showing up it will be subjugated... like a demon"
Shamiko sympathizing with "c-chan" is so funny... even though it's once again casually stating the raw deal the demons get.

Dark Momo is becoming darker, now using emotional blackmail. And the one driving her there is Shamiko, the unaware demon... gotta love the irony...

@KZO
That should be in the manga. It perfectly fits the canon.

Ahh, Shamiko going around apologising for the both of them even though it was entirely Momo's fault anyway. The two of them are just inseparable, even in their own minds.
