Magika Swordsman and Summoner - Vol. 5 Ch. 23

Thanks for the chapter!
I'm beginning to wonder if there is some blending of the personalities of Loki and Kaya at the edges. She's mistaken about one thing. Loki is a bad person as the personalities and/or souls of the people he manipulates into rogue magicians who are controlled or taken over by their diva will at best have severe emotional and mental trauma, and at worst be completely destroyed so diva will have full control and able to use body like their own as Loki did with Kaya briefly. Granted I agree that the "order" of Germany's and Japan's governments are self-serving, hypocritical, act like above the law, and extremely two-faced but it's better than Loki's chaos. His ideal is lawlessness, might makes right, and is just as hypocritical. For a guy who says he wants chaos he's still trying to increase his subordinates who won't be chaotically doing whatever they want wherever they want, but following his orders and keeping themselves in check. Regrettably all governments have their share of corruption, politicians who feel it's their right to buy/sell/trade favors to increase their personal power and wealth while doing minimum of the responsibilities of their job and whatever is good for the country is based on how good it is for them as well. In any case, it's good that MC is able to hold onto his convictions, read between the lines on both Japan and Germany's governments' plans, and is able to come up with a means to protect Lotte while having a politically convenient excuse to prevent getting scapegoated.
In LN Lem raises lots of objections and anger about the cafe's cosplay as being insulting, using 72 pillars name without permission to make a profit without sharing spoils, and contrary to the 72 pillars reason for not being worshiped and avoiding direct intervention in Japan's government policies and decision making.

i like this bro a nice blend between action and romance something that people would consider really hard to do as they are practically polar opposites so its rare to see the romance and action portrayed well so i really enjoy this since its good and not just 90% action and the shittest romance known to man

Loki's not that bad of a person
I bet Loki's just using her to get on Kazuki's good side and has an ulterior motive. Loki is the God of Mischief, after all
