To be honest, if the Author just freaking hold up everything, and release the chapters in batch, instead of splitting the chapters in parts for several months, then it will probably be more emotional....Unless for those guys that did wait till the end of this arc to read it.

@JigokuShounen Yeah, this "chapter" being split into parts kinda killed my emotional investment =02. It's like leaving in the middle of a funeral, doing a bunch of fun things, then coming back to said funeral in the same state its in days later. You're kind of like, "Oh yeah, this bad thing happened." Not a very good way to tell a story =01.

Man these chapters are short. It's sad that they lost, but as long as no one got injured, that's the most important part, imo. An injury is bad even if you win. Especially if it's a career-ending one.
