Majo no Geboku to Maou no Tsuno - Vol. 6 Ch. 32 - The Witch's Servant and the Grown-Up Flavor (1)

very cute chapter, arsenyo is growing a lot real fast. the panel of the kids raging was funny too

Ah yes, monsters are allowed their own sound effects, but not allowed to have hobbies or ambitions. Fair trade, fair trade.

I don't know why Arsenio is so bluepilled, given how he's been working for a witch. The whole fake catholicism thing is real on the nose too

Today the Witch's Servant learned how to process a shit ton of Catholic guilt. Perspective is the first step Arsenyo.

@Rozzak in our secular world view attacking against a religion may seem like no big deal, but at the time, things like excommunication would be devastating to a person as you've been condemned to eternal suffering and hellfire. There's a reason why in Frankenstein Justine confesses to a crime she didn't commit because the threat of excommunication was the far more painful alternative to her.

good chapter, also wish i had a unique sound when my existence was present, or maybe not...

@NinjaGoemon
It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If Arsenio is so devout he's willing to condemn himself, he should've set Betty and co. on fire a long time ago. But mainly the whole fantasy parallel of catholicism thing is so overdone too

Weird how related Arsenio gets for me after every chapter. Makes me worried about how automatic his response was, but i can understand why he would think that. I hope he eventually moves past such bias.

I cant take a shit because Im a monster. I cant sleep on the toilet because im a monster. :U can we get past this stupid mental block

Damn. The characters in this manga are so damn likeable.

And I know arsenio and Eric are depicted as really good friends here but it's hard not to ship them based on how they get along

@Rozzak he still has internalised bias which he's using to impose what he considers "higher standards" on himself. Like if he ever had a child with these biases who was a witch he might be opposed to it

I always under the impression that "feck" was something Father Ted came up with to get past censors. The scottish sure are a funny lot.

@Rozzak what if we just haven't reach that backstory yet? What if Arsenyo did try to kill Betty at first? I just think Arsenyo is indeed devout but overtime he can tolerate some he can't before, and because it's a bit by bit so some of his faith still there and not completely gone. Did it make more sense if we think like that?
