Majoukari no Gendai Kyoten - Vol. 2 Ch. 6 - The World Without You

I think this manga is Rushing things a litle too fast and is a little too all over the place.
Heres the world Main Heroine is a witch teacher is a witch everything is under lookdown here is hunter as new hoomrome techer here is a Cardinal.
i mean wow the mangaka doesnt take it easy on the main a teenager thats suposed to outwit all this at once?
the Story Flow for me is the weakest part of the story.

This is pacing realistically fast in my opinion given these guys are supposed to be good at their jobs, their inductive and deductive reasoning, etc.

Plus the amount of people who want MC dead, the stress he is under, and how much his life changed in such a short period of time is understandable for why he may make some questionable or rash decisions.

why do Witch Hunters always look like they're vampires from a shoujo manga. It's like one of the requirements of being a witch hunter was to either

1. Look like you're European
2. Have long flowing blond hair
3. look like you could be a runway fashion model

Some people are hating on MC in here, and I feel as if that isn’t totally justified. MC saw the cardinal in the room that his witch friend was in, and of course assumed the worse. She was in a bad condition in the floor, how could she have gotten away? He was acting on emotion, not rationale - humans aren’t purely rational creatures. I personally think that it’s actually pretty good writing and further develops the MC’s character effectively, displaying his gutsy nature when protecting his friends and teaching him not to jump to conclusions and to be calmer in a situation such as this, so as not to arouse suspicion

@ahobaka
As to the European thing, because in this case and in almost all media, witches are based on European folklore. More than that the setting is based on witch burnings and inquisitions carried out by European churches, notably the Catholic Church.
As to the clothing, it's inspired by a gothic aesthetic which also inspired the look for European vampires. It's gargoyles, heavy coats, and crosses.
The last one is a pretty (no pun intended) common theme. They're beautiful on the outside and horrible/terrible/ugly on the inside.

I'm not saying these are good reasons, but they are like how you pointed out, common.

MC messes up with his reaction

Can’t fault him though, he’s young and doesn’t think far ahead enough. Hopefully he grows
