Manga / MangaDex loading slow ? , try VPN

somehow if i use VPN and choose Singapore Server or HongKong server , it became much faster loading rather than Direct line

this is just for telling anyone who dont like waiting

edit : you dont have to choose Singapore or Hongkong , just choose the closest server next to your country

Work but still very slow compared to normal. Asia Region VPN not work for me,
But better in Europe and US for short time

Tried Asia, Europe and America (Opera's built in VPN). No difference.

Doesn't work. It seems like it works, but that's just a regular window when it does work even without the VPN.

I'm no networking guru, but I don't think there's a straight "VPN server in country X works" answer here. Whether it loads quicker for someone or not probably has to do with how the data/packets are routed, among other things. So basically, it probably varies depending on VPN provider - one provider's Japan tunnel might work but another provider's tunnel located in same country might not.

Example:
My own work VPN (IKEv2/IPSec) on a DigitalOcean VPS in Singapore, technically my fastest tunnel, is slow as heck. Single pages take multiple minutes to load. Switching to my other "nefarious activities" provider called Mullvad, I seem to be able to load the manga pages with minimal load times via a server (WireGuard) from Singapore. Still not quite as instantaneous as before though, but it's at least around 10-15 seconds per page, a bit more for full-colour ones.

VPN I use is betternet and sometime Zenmate

i use cracked tho

Edit : im using Hong Kong server in these VPN , sometime japan

the difference before after i use VPN to read Mangadex while being dDosed

dDosed and not use a VPN :
Speed : 10 - 20 KiloBytes/sec
Really long time to open a page and bothersome

dDosed and use a VPN : Speed : 200 - 500 KiloBytes/sec
took 5 - 10 second to fully load page
but at least 10x faster

before got dDosed : Speed: 3 - 6 MegaBytes
it is fast and its without VPN
