I imagine the town being called, "TOWN, the land of demon lords," and I imagine the townspeople doing traditions and holding festivals about their town pride about hosting generations of demon lords. Basically they have become dependent on a NEAR DEMIGODLIKE POWER CAPABLE OF SUMMONING LOVECRAFTIAN HORROR. It would be like Solvang, except less crowded and with more pancake shops.
