Felt a bit conflicting her talking to him about her father forgetting her mother after remarrying when she also plans to marry Kaoru in the future. But it worked in her favor.
I knew that lady would be back but completely forgot Midori father was also a widow... thats great actualy, instead of a rival she gained a good mother.
But is a bit weird shes marrying someone without not even seeing a picture of their children. Otherwise she would had recognized Midori.
