Great job with the redrawing! Couldn't you save them as PNG files and save some space though? I tried opening one of the pages in this chapter in paint.net and save it as a png png with 8bit color and it would be half the size with 8 bit color depth. This would make it go from a 3 mb jpeg to a 600 kb png. If you did this from the raw redraws then it would be real small and look basically the same.

I could be talking nonsense though, I don't know shit about redrawing. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I just came here after trying your suggestion. As you said, it's a good idea doing it only if I finished the redrawing process (avoiding problems related to color gradients). I'll keep it in mind because, at least until now, those gradients are just in not-important sections, so I suppose there won't be any problem with the final result.
