I would actually say that I hope we do because I think she's the best hope of ever reforming Kiichi and it's only since she made it into his life that he's shown progress.

I think most of the demented things he does is him trying to purposefully push people away or try to get them out of his life out of fear of his mother's wrath or that she will use them against him. She's this omnipresent force in his life that makes it so he hasn't developed into a normal, healthy adult, and so I think his attempts at being creepy are just more or less a cover for his deeper insecurities that she has instilled in him.
