This set up is making me nervous. Intoxication usually to leads to alcoholic induced kissing and other things in manga. I hope this isn't the case.

All the women in this series with the exception of the moms, perhaps, are fantastic characters. Clever, opinionated, relatively strong, and ready to take action to get to the heart of issues. I really hope this author will avoid the age gap romance trope here because Kaede is just too good a partner/foil to Nao-kun. The cicada/Kaede noises bit made me laugh way harder than it should have because of the way her face was drawn.

I'd like it if Sakaki slowly turned into a nee-chan figure for Nao and Kaede as she creates a pseudo-family out of everyone in the share house to replace the one she lost.
