I think i get it now.
The spirit of the blanket possessed this girl. The girl knows all about the MC because of the blanket or they know each other when they were young.
Maybe the girl liked the MC back then but the MC was more into his blanket and kinda ignored her.

Anyway, the girl is influenced by the blanket, that's why she and the blanket swap soul, or the body of the girl transforms into a blanket. Main reason is the blanket is jealous of how the MC focuses on the girl now instead of the blanket.

Yeah I don't get it. Prematurely ended series are usually rushed, but this one is both rushed and confusing.

This pacing annoys me way more than this manga I am not even invested in should.

What is going on? The author has refused to explain who Kokoro is, is she a human form of his blanket? Is she a normal human who for some reason received his blankets memories? Who is this new person, how is she different from Kokoro? Why does the MC act like he has full understanding of the situation and rejects the new personality when nothing had been explained? Why am I getting so angry over this fan-service manga?

I dunno lazy writing pisses me off. Hats off to the translator, I would've probably pulled my hair out trying to make sense of this mess.
