Moonlight Flowers

This is truly one of those pieces of writing that can teach what it's like- or was like, to be a woman. It's the kind of societal trauma that society can't truly move on from until everyone who lived in that era has passed, no matter how much women and LGBT rights or gender equality movements make massive strides, to the point where it hardly matters in some corners of the world- you can't just wash away the pain (and subconscious cultural waves) left behind and say everything's good now.
