@keks503 I find it highly unlikely that she would be with anyone her sons age. I'd kinda drop this if it did. I mean, she's a single parent and never(that we know of.. as of now) been in anything remotely serious after having her kiddo. Just because she looks younger on the outside doesn't mean that her entire life up to the transformation has gone out the window.

@blipBloop Naaah, I think the devil that made the deal with him will save him saying it wasn't the correct time for him to die, since he has to die when the contract states or something? Or even save his life to try to get him to cancel the contract.

Edit: I will say that I do want to see her happy and what-not and it has nothing to do with the age-gap. I'm just kinda not wanting the whole romantic shit just coming out of nowhere(at least from her.)

@codydub03 Sure, but as was expressed already in the story it's not like there's some perfect solution here. If she wanted to have a romance with anyone at all it's going to look or feel weird. Or both. I mean, it's not like she'd want to tell everyone her real age to be looked at less weirdly for dating someone that old, just to become one of those banner ads "Plastic surgeons hate her. She's actually XX years old."

@Ekfreet Saving someone from falling and instead falling yourself is a common enough trope that I wouldn't immediately think of Koe no Katachi when I see it...

I just noticed how the scene in which the mother finds out about the money and this one are very similar to the ones from Koe no Katachi.
