Murabito Desu ga Nani ka? - Vol. 7 Ch. 32 - Accolade

It just feel sad
Why cant we have smart villain? Like people with actually a good plan, on top of being straight up chaotic evil
Not these narcissistic retards who got power drunk to the point of never comprehend the op mc - and are barely sleazy to be labeled "bad" and the author need to draw the "dumbass shitty smirking expressions" so we know "oh this is the bad guy"

But yeah, i'm reading an isekai

When you think the world is in the palm of you hands and act casually to not cause suspicion but your main enemy target already knows you are a piece of shit who will try to kill/mess with him and is just letting you be for now because you don't yet realize how fucked you are if you were to make a serious move against them.

Guess his core plan is to bang the hero by doing the whole saving the damsel in distressed. Damn virgins and their nefarious schemes.

... By allowing Mozes to take the accolades, he allowed that disgusting little worm to gain incredible public power. Now he's practically unassailable here. If Mozes just outright fucking kills someone in the street he can probably get away with it.

...
Heh, the sage don't even know the villager already know the sage personality and planning to use it against the sage ...

Plan against plan ...
The winner will be the one who can read the opponent plan ...
Just as planned ...😎

Why does the MC really even care about getting recognised by people who are pretty much his adversaries? They only exceedinly grudgingly gave him the lowest possible honour they could possibly come up with, and the real motive was probably the random guess by an audience member: They find it hard to stomach having a villager among themselves, so they tried to mask it a little bit. I get it the MC is happy because his little girlfriend and the heroine are getting positive publicity, but he would have been better off making himself scarce. It's better not to bow down to people who are only mocking you, plus not playing by their rules, he would have made himself also more unapproachable. I guess he had his reasons, though.

I'm not impressed the writing is bad, I'm impressed I still come back to read it though.
